4th of July 2008

We spent our traditional 4th of July up in Mt. Shasta this year. Thomas loved walking (being pushed) in the walk and watching the parade. He enjoyed watching the fireworks as well. We all had a great time going to the lake and spending time with Grandma and Grandpa DePree.

June 2008

This month we took a trip down to Laguna Beach to visit with Zadie and Bubbi to get out of the valley summer heat. We had a great time cooling off in the cool Pacific Ocean and playing on the beach.

Trip Back East June 2008

We had a wonderful time visiting Eve's family in MD and showing off the newest member to her family. Then, we took a drive up to Newport, RI, and then over to Great Barrington, MA to visit with John's family. Thomas got to meet his great-grandmother and great-grandfather on this trip. He was a wonderful little traveler on the plane and in the car.

John's Fly-in June 2008

Dad is finally home!! Thomas and I were so happy to see John get out of his jet. Thomas remembered his daddy and it was like those 4 months of deployment never happened. (I'm glad that one of us didn't remember it!) We are looking forward to some much-needed family time together.

Trip to Monterey Bay Aquarium

Grammy and Mommy took Thomas on his first trip to Monterey. While there, they took Thomas to the aquarium. Thomas loved watching the fish in the big tank. He especially liked watching the schools of fish swim by glittering in the light.

Hanging Out at Home

Thomas has been getting stronger by the day. He is able to sit up in his chair and hang out in his jumperoo.

Spring 2008

Thomas has been a busy boy this spring. He has had visits from his grandparents. He is able to hold his head up, and is getting close to rolling over. He is able to hold onto toys, and is babbling up a storm! Thomas and mommy have been busy taking Parent and Me classes and Mommy and Baby yoga.
